Peng Ming

 

Peng Ming is the founder of China Development Federation, and was framed by the Chinese Communists in 1999 and imprisoned for 1-1/2 years. When he was released from the labor camp, Peng fled to Thailand and arrived in the United States in August 2001. There, he founded China Federal Development Committee. On May 28, 2004, when he was in Thailand, Peng was trapped by Chinese special agents and kidnapped to China. On October 12, 2005, Peng was sentenced to life in prison on the false charge of “organizing and leading a terrorist organization.”

Updates 

  • Peng Ming died on November 29, 2016 at the Xianning prison. Reports say he fell down while watching TV and died on his way to the hospital. Others are speculative about the cause of his death (November 30, 2016, China Change).
